Montenegrin Shooting Federation became
full-time member
of the World Shooting Federation
Equally in ISSF
Montenegrin Shooting Federation became full-time member of the World
Shooting Federation. The good news was faxed this morning to the
office of the Montenegrin Shooting Federation from the Headquarters
of the ISSF.
On the meeting of the World Shooting Federation, held in August in
Zagreb, was decided that Montenegrin Shooting Federation should be
accepted as affiliated member, and after MOC is accepted into IOC
membership, it will have equal status in ISSF. Few days ago,
International Olympic Committee informed the World Shooting
Federation that MOC will become member of IOC on its next session.
Under these circumstances, ISSF accepted application for membership
into this organization from the Montenegrin Shooting Federation, and
by doing this, our Federation gained the status of full-time member
– it was said, among other, in the announcement of the Montenegrin
Shooting Federation delivered to the media.
