development strategy of Montenegrin Olympic Committee
I STARTING PRINCIPLES
Montenegrin sport with its results is one of the best Montenegrin
products multiply confirmed on demanding international market of
top-level achievements.
MOC as the fundamental organization of Montenegrin sport is a full
member of the International Olympic Committee.
Presidency of the MOC with its new management is aware of the fact
that only on basis of top-level work organization, good experience
and scientific achievements, quality and results of Montenegrin
sport can be achieved.
New way of work within Montenegrin Olympic movement, amog other,
considers stabile financial basis for development and improvement of
Montenegrin sport.
Respecting the fact that Montenegrin economy is in difficult
situation right now and that state budget can’t follow needs of
Montenegrin sport, MOC decided to provide necessary means for
realisation of its programs systematically, through its own
marketing.
II AIMS
Principle aim of marketing evelopment of the MOC is providing
stabile and regular income of financial means for realisation of MOC
programs.
For realisation of the principle aim, it is necessary to develop
partner and business relationships with international and
Montenegrin economy that has interest and possibilities for
cooperation with the MOC.
In all partner and business relations, starting point is always
business relationship. In that sense, next aim is defining
''products'' and ''services'' MOC can offer here and to
international goods and services market.
Redesign image of the MOC but still fulfill all international
regulations proscribed by the IOC. New image must be in line with
contemporary design flows, and yet must present modern sport
organization transformed from institution whose marketing depends on
good will of individual economic subjects ready to ''help thanks to
personal connections'', to contemporary and respectable business
partner in area of sport.
III TASKS
To do marketing categorization of sport events (competitions in
which participate Montenegrin athletes) organized by or under
patronage of the IOC and MOC and other associations.
To define clear delimitations with sport associations about
marketing use rights for sport events and athletes participating in
those events. Charter of the IOC must be respected, because it dealt
with those relations in proper way.
REMARK : In order to fulfill such ambitious
marketing plan, it is necessary to set up an Agency, provide all
necessary means and get consent from MOC Executive Board.
