GAMES OF THE SMALL STAES OF EUROPE

Marija Vuković and Slađana Perunović won gold medals
 


Athletes Marija Vuković and Slađana Perunović won gold medals in athletics. Junior World champion Vuković won in high jump by jumping 186cm. She broke down the poll only once by this hight and being close to 189 cm she almost broke the record of the Games.





A bit later, in 10.000 m race Perunović concluded successful day for Montenegrin athletes.

Perunović left two competitors full round and won gold in 36 minutes and 48 hundredths. She was only three seconds away from beating the national record.








Table tennis players had great day too, Irfan Čekić and Luka Bakić in team competition almost made it to the finals. They were stopped by older and experienced players from Luxembourg – 3:2 in sets, but their bronze medal, first for Montenegro will be remembered.

Wolleyball players won again against San Marino 3:0.
