During this long session with conprehensive agenda, most of the discussions were related to MOC obligations arising from the new Law on Sport: proposals for amandments and changes of the Statutes of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and principles for creation of Arbitrations for resolution of disputes in sport. Proposal for the new Statutes will be presented at the agenda of MOC at the beginning of next year.

Traditionally, MOC will declare best national teams in both men and women competition as well as best young athlete in both categories for this year.
At the ceremony to be held at the end of the month in Villa Gorica, recognitions will be awarded to:

Most successful women national team in 2011: Basketball team (seniors)

Most successful men national team in 2011: Football national team (seniors).

In accordance with the Law on Sport, for the first time this year, Montenegrin Olympic Committee will elect best athlete of Montenegro for 2011. Having in mind importance of this recognition, the Executive Board of MOC paid special attention to composition of the jury that will decide on this prestigious title. Therefore, besides representatives from MOC at the jury will also be top athletes from Montenegro and representatives from media. They will announce the winner as soon as possible.

Following proposals of national sports federations, candidates for this award are Bojana Popović, handball player and Srđan Mrvaljević, judoka.
