YOG “Buenos Aires 2018”: Devic took 11th place

Miljan Dević, Montenegro’s representative in shooting at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, took 11th place in the qualifications for the finals in the 10m Air Rifle event.

Devic shot 6 sets to obtain a score of 617.0 points, but that was not enough for the finals (he was 3.2 points short for the top eight).

Youth Olympic Games "Buenos Aires 2018" officially opened

The third Summer Youth Olympic Games have been officially opened in the center of Buenos Aires, next to the famous Obelisk Monument.

The flag of Montenegro was carried by the Montenegrin karateka Bojan Boskovic.

Montenegro at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona

The Montenegrin delegation will consist of eight athletes at the 18th Mediterranean Games in Spain’s Tarragona from June 22nd to July 1st, 2018.

In addition to men’s and women’s handball, our water polo selection will take part; while in individual sports we will have competitors in athletics, karate, judo, sailing, swimming and sailing.

Countdown begins for GSSE Montenegro 2019!

The countdown has begun – a clock was set today at the entrance to the city of Budva, which will show how many days, hours and minutes remains until the start of the GSSE 2019.
Exactly one year from today, athletes from 9 European countries with less than a million inhabitants will gather in Budva: Montenegro, Malta, Andorra, San Marino, Iceland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Monaco and Cyprus.

GSSE General Assembly and Technical Commission Meeting

The General Assembly and Technical Commission Meeting of the Games of the Small States of Europe will be held on Friday and Saturday in Budva.

In honor of the occasion, a “Minister’s Dinner” was held, where the guests were greeted by the Minister of Sports and the President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee.
